REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1–2 years of project support experience (construction or remodeling)
  • Familiarity with high-end residential remodeling methods and materials
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle for conducting job site visits

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Assistant Production Manager supports our Project Managers and production team by coordinating the administrative and operational details of one or more projects, from securing permits to project completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to review complete project scopes and timelines.
  • Obtain bids from subcontractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
  • Prepare purchase order requests and manage additional trade work approvals
  • Coordinate employee assignments and subcontractor scheduling
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and inspection reports
  • Track and update project schedules; communicate changes to the team
  • Prepare pricing for change orders and budget adjustments
  • Manage correspondence — contracts, drawings, specs, RFIs, and more
  • Review and process invoices, labor hours, and timesheets
  • Assist with job site coordination and ensure smooth project flow
  • Collaborate with the production team in the Annapolis office on a full-time basis, Monday - Friday.
