Key responsibilities include team training, facility maintenance, process optimization, and managing production schedules and costs to meet operational and business goals. Core responsibilities Leadership and team management: Guide and mentor production teams, conduct performance appraisals, and foster a positive and collaborative environment. Support the Production Manager in hiring, onboarding, and retaining staff. Operations and efficiency: Assist in developing and implementing production schedules, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Quality and safety: Ensure adherence to quality policies and safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines and other corporate policies. Facility and equipment: Maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of the facility and ensure all equipment is in working order. Financial oversight: Analyze production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and use data to make informed decisions. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED is required. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in production management is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant leadership experience, with a strong focus on team building. Experience in the laundry industry is a plus. Skills: Leadership, process improvement, and financial literacy are crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is also required. Other: Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are often a strong asset.
