Rank, Term, and Salary: This is a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Salary will be competitive with other private schools having regional accreditation in the Midwest. Teaching Responsibilities: Teh successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of computer science courses. This position carries a teaching load of six or eight courses per calendar year depending on which track is chosen (research, teaching, or service).    Candidates must be able to communicate complex concepts to a diverse student population, and be committed to quality teaching, Scholarship, and a global university. Specific teaching expectations include but are not limited to 1. Emphasizing the application of computer science theory in solving real-world problems. 2. C++ 3. Network concepts. 4. Computer architecture. 5. Database theory. 6. Database applications. Other Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to: a) Teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. b) Teach day classes and evening classes. c) Advise students. d) Assist in curriculum development. e) Assist with academic program assessment. f) Participate in appropriate professional development (Boyer Model) g) Maintain competence in the field of staying current with new and emerging theory, applications and pedagogy. h) Serve on department, school, and university committees i) Perform administrative tasks as needed.  Qualifications Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a closely related field. 
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of computer science courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Additional responsibilities include advising students, assisting in curriculum development, and participating in academic program assessment.
