Description Total Full Time Equivalent (FTE) 1.0 FTE Department/Division/Specialty Department of Medicine/Division of Cardiology/Cardiac Critical Care/Emory Heart & VascularProposed Academic Appointment: Assistant Professor Primary Role & FTE Percentage(s) Position: FTE 1.0 Location with Associated FTE Primary Site at Emory University Hospital (EUH) with privileges at Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM) Clinical Service Expectations and Administrative Role Clinical duties with Cardiac Critical Care:• 22 weeks serving as the attending physician in the CICU• And, when not serving as the attending physician in the CICU, 2 clinical sessions per week with effort divided among:o Outpatient clinic at EUHo Interpretation of Echocardiograms & TEEs *Clinical duties are subject to change at the discretion of Emory Heart & Vascular Executive Director as dictated by operational and strategic needs of the service line. Responsibilities

Serve as the attending physician in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) for 22 weeks per year. Manage outpatient clinics and perform interpretations of Echocardiograms and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs).
