SUMMARY

The research faculty member will support the strategic plan and educational research missions of the Division of Medical Education Research and Scholarship in the Office of the Senior Dean, Baylor College of Medicine.
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Medical Education Research and Scholarship, the research faculty member offers consultations on educational research and scholarship, supports the process of research dissemination, and engages in medical education research projects as deemed appropriate by the Assistant Dean of Medical Education Research and Scholarship. This role is primarily meant to mentor and develop the careers of BCM faculty and trainees in medical education research and scholarship.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum doctoral degree in education, psychology, or other relevant discipline with a concentration or expertise in research methods. ABD applicants will be considered.
Well Qualified candidates will demonstrate the following:

PROGRAM EVALUATION AND QUALITATIVE RESEARCH SKILLS

  • Proficient in designing and implementing program evaluations to assess impact and outcomes.
  • Skilled in conducting focus groups and interviews for qualitative data collection and analysis.

ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work in a timely manner.
