Position/Rank Thomas More University seeks a passionate and faith-filled full-time, entry-level, Assistant Professor in the Hospitality Management department beginning Fall 2026. This is a non-tenure track with the possibility of elevation to tenure track in the future. Required Education: Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related field. Preferred: Ph.D. at the time of hire in Hospitality, Tourism, or related area with extensive work experience in the industry.  Responsibilities: * The successful candidate will advise and teach undergraduate and graduate students in the Hospitality Management  as well as conduct research and service. * Faculty are expected to take responsibility for infusing scholarship, state-of-the-art issues and community service into the curriculum. * The specific teaching and advising assignment are dependent on departmental needs and individual expertise and adjusted annually as needed. * The candidate is expected to conduct research, publish in peer-reviewed journals and other outlets. * All faculty members advise students, remain current on topics and practices related to the discipline, contribute to the campus community in various ways including committee assignments and assisting the Admissions Office in recruiting for the program, and engage in scholarly work.  Qualifications * Required Education: Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related field. Preferred: Ph.D. at the time of hire in Hospitality, Tourism, or related area with extensive work experience in the industry. * Required Related Experience: The candidate is expected to contribute to student learning in a variety of areas including but not limited to strategic management in hospitality and tourism, and hospitality management, and tourism marketing. * The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written formats and work in a team-based environment. * Evidence of research and the ability to develop an active research program in his/her areas of expertise including grant procurement.
