HONG KONG BAPTIST UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES ACADEMY OF WELLNESS AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT Assistant Professor in Psychology and/or Education (25260441) The Academy of Wellness and Human Development invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor with experience in at least one of the following areas: (a) Developmental Psychology (b) Educational Psychology (c) Cognitive Psychology (d) Inclusive Education (e) Environmental Psychology (f) Clinical Counselling; and (g) Technology in Human Behaviors Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to play a key role in teaching and developing courses, as well as supervising postgraduate students in these areas. Teaching in different programmes in the Academy and/or Faculty is expected. The appointee is expected to have a track record of high-quality publications. Securing competitive research funding would be a key consideration in offering the Assistant Professor position. Requirements: Applicants should possess a PhD in Psychology and/or Education, and teaching experience at university level is preferred. They must also demonstrate a commitment to organising and undertaking local, mainland, and international programme-related outreach initiatives. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of three years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
