Description:

The School of Linguistic, Speech and Communications Sciences seeks to appoint a full-time Assistant Professor in Speech and Language Pathology. The successful candidate will have a PhD and will carry out teaching and research on aspects of developmental speech, language, and communication impairments. The post holder will also be responsible for administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Discipline, in line with the workload model of the School.
This post is central to the undergraduate and postgraduate educational activities within the Department. The appointee will be expected to collaborate with colleagues in teaching, research supervision and clinical practice support for students registered for the undergraduate speech and language therapy programme within the department. In addition, the post-holder may contribute to postgraduate activities through teaching and/or project supervision in the areas of developmental speech, language, and communication disorders.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract (To cover maternity leave)

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Lecturer Full Salary Scale (€38,719 - €94,031 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
