  • Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, tutorials and other scheduled teaching in Accounting and Finance-related subjects.
  • Support students in their academic learning and provide appropriate guidance, tutoring and consultation.
  • Lead modules where allocated, including planning delivery, preparing learning materials and coordinating module activities.
  • Develop, set, mark and moderate assessments at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in line with University requirements.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic and assessment records.
  • Contribute to the development and review of modules, curriculum content and the wider Accounting and Finance subject area.
  • Participate fully in University and Faculty quality assurance processes and comply with relevant academic policies and procedures.
  • Support programme teams with course reports, programme and assessment boards, student recruitment, enrolment, induction and Faculty events as required.
  • Engage with relevant industry and professional practice to support curriculum relevance and student employability.
  • Contribute to appropriate scholarly activity and maintain current subject and professional knowledge.
  • Work collegiately with academic and professional-services colleagues and undertake other duties appropriate to the level of the role.
