Department/ Unit: Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Closing Date: May 16, 2026 The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Professor in the field of reproductive medicine and immunology. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research, teaching, and clinical operations in reproductive medicine. Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Reproductive Sciences, Medical Sciences, or related fields; (ii) A strong interest and a proven track record of publications and grant applications in endometrial receptivity and reproductive disorders, including recurrent miscarriage, infertility, chronic endometritis, endometriosis and adenomyosis; (iii) Prior experience in clinical practice in reproductive medicine, or familiarity with clinical and laboratory procedures related to assisted reproductive technologies; (iv) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute as a team member. Duties include (a) Leading independent research activities by writing research grant applications and publishing academic papers; (b) Teaching and developing postgraduate and undergraduate course related to the applicant’s area(s) of expertise; (c) Fostering academic research collaborations with internal and external partners; (d) Providing service and support in the development of endometrial immune cell tests and receptivity tests in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area; (e) Contributing to the department’s administrative, educational, and scholarly missions. Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for up to three years, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance.
