The Department of Advanced Clinical Sciences Nurse Anesthesia Program invites applications for a full-time status-track faculty member to join a well-established, successful group of nurse anesthesia educators. This in-person core faculty position will require teaching, scholarship, administrative, and service responsibilities. The twelve (12) month academic position will begin during the 2025-2026 academic year, starting in January 2026. Qualifications • Doctoral degree in nursing/nurse anesthesia or related field, or evidence of progress toward a doctoral degree • Active certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) • State licensure as a Registered Nurse • Minimum of 3-5 years of current practice as a CRNA • Evidence of or progress toward formal instruction in curriculum, evaluation, and instruction • Knowledge of CRNA practice and professional issues • Strong computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite/Teams, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and Canvas preferred • Strong interpersonal skills and positive energy regarding collaboration • Established ability to work effectively as a team member • Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills • Experience in clinical and/or didactic instruction preferred • Expertise in simulation preferred • Enthusiastic and committed to the educational and professional development of future CRNAs
