JOB SUMMARY

Instruct academic courses in logistics and supply chain management, and support the department, college and university goals by supporting the academic environment to benefit the educational mission of the University.
The faculty employee is expected to contribute to the department’s educational mission. Successful candidates will be expected to instruct our students in logistics and supply chain management, as well as supporting the core curriculum by teaching core and foundation courses for majors and non-majors alike.
The faculty employee is expected to have:
1. understanding of the principles associated with teaching and learning.
2. strong communication skills and successful higher education teaching experience.
3. a developing research agenda.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal degree) in logistics and/or supply chain management at the time of the appointment is expected.
Must meet SACSCOC accreditation requirements stated in C.S. 3.7.1 (www.sacscoc.org (faculty credentials))

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Evidence of methodological innovation and creative teaching strategies is highly desirable.
