Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy – University of Jamestown Position Title: Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy Location: Fargo, ND Employment Type: Full-time, 12-month faculty position Application Deadline: Open until filled FLSA Status: Exempt The University of Jamestown Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program is hiring a core faculty member who will contribute to the mission of the University of Jamestown and the DPT program. This position is an on-site core faculty position at our in-person program in Fargo, ND. Come join our dynamic and collaborative faculty in mentoring the next generation of physical therapists! The Department of Natural Science is committed to preparing students for successful careers in science and health-related fields through student-centered pedagogy, hands-on laboratory experiences, and a supportive academic environment. Position Overview: As a core faculty member, teaching, scholarship and service are required. Teaching includes course development, primary instruction, team-teaching, and participation in curricular meetings. Teaching responsibilities will be based on areas of expertise, interest, and program needs. Current program needs include foundational courses covering clinical assessment, community health and wellness, acute care, pediatrics, and administration. All areas of experience are encouraged to apply. Enhancing the profession through participation in research is required. Mentoring in the development of an active scholarly research agenda will be provided. Service is also required and may include service to the university, the program, the profession and the community. Faculty members are allowed to maintain some clinical hours to maintain clinical expertise.
