Assistant Professor of Practice in Marketing The College of Business Administration (CBA) at Ajman University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Practice in Marketing to join our dynamic faculty starting in Fall 2026-2027. We are looking for an innovative and engaging educator who thrives in an applied learning environment - bringing industry-relevant skills, cutting-edge marketing strategies, and hands-on experience into the classroom. An educator who will play a key role in preparing students for success in today's fast-paced marketing and advertising landscape.  QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE * Master's degree, high level corporate marketing expertise, specialized marketing skills, and evidence of teaching success are generally preferred, but we will consider applicants with a variety of strengths such as Doctorate (Ph.D., DBA, or equivalent) in Marketing or a closely related field. * 5+ years of professional marketing leadership experience, particularly within large corporations or data-driven organizations, and the ability to connect academic research with managerial practice. * Relevant professional certifications in digital and technology-enabled marketing. * Prior teaching experience or interest in developing and teaching courses in digital and social media marketing, branding, and hospitality and tourism. * Research interests aligned with digital marketing, marketing strategy, branding, and/or analytical or quantitative modeling. * Experience or demonstrated potential in securing external research funding, including competitive grants or industry-sponsored projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and teach practice-oriented courses in Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, Marketing Management, and related areas. * Supervise experiential learning or marketing research projects. * Maintain active engagement in professional practice, applied research, or pedagogical innovation. * Build partnerships with industry to expand internships, co-ops, and venture opportunities. * Participate in professional organizations and contribute to a diverse, inclusive academic community.
