Description

As a tenure track Assistant Professor or Lecturer of Special Education. Responsibilities of this position include: teaching various classes to undergraduate and graduate students in Special Education on the GSW campus and at off-campus sites; academic advising; supervision of student teachers; engage in professional development activities; service contributions to the College of Education and University. The applicant may also teach other classes, as assigned, consistent with the candidate’s expertise and qualifications.
Required Qualifications
Assistant Professor - Earned Doctorate in Special Education or related field (ABD considered)
Lecturer - Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Special Education or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years teaching experience in Special Education settings at the PK-12 levels.
Experience with instructional technology.
Experience with or familiarity with field supervision.
Interest in, and commitment to, community engagement and school district partnerships.
