The Department of Political Science at Duquesne University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor position in American politics. We are open to methodological approach and scholarly interests. The successful candidate will be able to teach an introductory course in American national government as well as courses in two of the following areas: 1) American political institutions; 2) political behavior (parties and interest groups; elections, campaigns, and voting; media and political communication) or 3) public administration and public policy. The successful candidate will be expected to continue the Department’s tradition of excellence in scholarship and undergraduate teaching to a diverse and dynamic student body.
