Responsibilities

The School of Health and Care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and post graduate courses for professionals working in health and social care settings including nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practice, diagnostic radiography, clinical psychology and public health. As we continue to develop our Allied Health Professions educational offer, we have been successful in securing funding to further expand our provision with the development of enhanced practice.
We are looking to recruit a senior academic into the role of pathway lead for Dietetics with a vision to create and deliver our innovative Enhanced Practice curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to co-develop and lead the development and our extensive enhanced practice provision alongside Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Podiatry. You will have academic responsibility for ensuring that the pathway meets educational requirements of enhanced practice across the breath of dietetic practice. You will work within the Enhanced practice team with oversight of the core pathway, in addition you will have the opportunity to work with our Dietetic pre-registration curriculum team.
You will work within our established partnerships working professional bodies, service users, employers, including statutory and independent sectors as part of course design and delivery, and as the pathway lead you will be responsible for developing and sustaining relationships with stakeholders to contribute to high quality education of health and care professionals.
You will be actively involved in the design and delivery of teaching as part of this role.
