SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time associate degree (AD), Higher Diploma (HD) and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the Shek Mun (Shatin) campus. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the seven Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls over 3,500 students and is committed to the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. Applications are now invited for the following position: Assistant Programme Manager / Senior Programme Officer (25260237) The appointee will provide coordination and administrative support for the associate degree and higher diploma Programmes of the College of International Education (CIE) at the Shek Mun (Shatin) campus. Major duties include programme administration and student related matters such as student record maintenance and SEN registration, scholarship and bursary, secretarial service to committees, system management, staff supervision and other duties as assigned. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant work experience (candidates with at least three years of experience will be considered for the position of Senior Programme Officer); Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua); Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to details, organised and analytical mindset; Competence in computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing) and IT skills; Ability to multitask under tight schedules; Capability to work both independently and as part of a team; and Experience in student information system operations is an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending in August 2027. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
