SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION   Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time associate degree (AD), Higher Diploma (HD) and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the Shek Mun (Shatin) campus.  It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the seven Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls over 3,500 students and is committed to the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. Applications are now invited for the following position:   Assistant Programme Officer (25260656) The appointee will be responsible for providing academic registry services support and frontline counter services for self-funded undergraduate programmes offered by the College of International Education (CIE) at the Shatin Shek Mun Campus. The appointee is required to assist in the following areas: a) programme admission and registration; b) record keeping; c) timetabling; d) tuition fee handling; and e) student activities and College functions, such as Information Day and orientation.    Requirements: * (i) Holder of Associate Degree / Higher Diploma with at least one year of work experience; OR (ii) Possession of HKCEE 5 passes including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A / Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese Language (at least Level 2 from 2007), or at least 5 subjects attaining Level 2 in HKDSE including English Language and Chinese Language, or Yi Jin graduates, with more work experience;  * Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua); * Good communication and interpersonal skills; * Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office application (both English and Chinese); and * Be able to work both independently and in a team.   The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending in August 2027.
