This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in accounting and some experience and in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. The Assistant Accountant will support financial operations by assisting with project tracking, invoicing, and cost reporting while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Roles & Responsibilities: Process Accounts Payable, including operational expenses and sub-consultant invoices. Maintain and track invoices across multiple projects; develop and update a master Excel sheet for all contractor invoices. Review invoices for accuracy and request revisions as necessary. Manage Accounts Receivable, including maintenance of Work in Progress (WIP). Review and update project budgets, providing timely budget updates to Project Managers. Assist with preparation of financial reports. Minimum Requirements: At least two (2) years of full-time experience in an Accounting or Finance function. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in accounting in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Experience using accounting software and ability to learn new systems. Familiarity with BST accounting software is preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred; Minimum of Associate's degree from an accredited program is required. #LI-Onsite Salary $70,000—$90,000 USD Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
