Job Description The Surveyor is responsible for verifying the accuracy of surveying works, measuring quantities of completed work, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards. This role involves operating advanced surveying equipment, preparing detailed reports, and contributing to the successful execution of construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Verify the accuracy and precision of surveying activities performed on-site to ensure they meet project requirements. Measure and document quantities of completed works to support project progress tracking and billing. Prepare detailed and accurate reports on surveying activities, findings, and any deviations from project specifications. Operate and maintain advanced surveying equipment, including GPS devices, total stations, and angle measuring devices, ensuring reliability and precision. Ensure all surveying activities align with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related scientific field. At least 8 years of experience in surveying, with a proven track record in construction or infrastructure projects. Extensive hands-on experience in operating and maintaining surveying equipment, such as GPS devices, total stations, and angle measuring tools. Strong understanding of surveying principles, methods, and industry best practices. High attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and reporting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in using surveying software and tools. Strong communication and reporting skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
