SUMMARY

The Assistant Project Engineer will play a key role in the successful delivery of high-profile LEDFlex projects. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, hands-on engineering skills, and effective project management. Working closely with our Project Engineer and Project Manager, the Assistant Project Engineer will assist in coordinating and executing technical aspects of LEDFlex projects, ensuring they are completed within the specified timelines and budget. This role involves a hands-on approach with prototyping, technical drawings, and ensuring smooth communication between teams and stakeholders.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Additional training or certifications in project management or engineering disciplines are a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year of project management and engineering experience, preferably in LED technology, architectural lighting, or related fields.
  • Previous experience with CNC machining, laser cutting, 3D printing, and prototyping is highly desirable.
  • Experience in working with LED lighting and control systems is a significant advantage.
  • Previous exposure coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting and assisting junior team members as needed.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with experience using design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and prototyping tools.
  • Proficient with machinery such as CNC machines, laser cutters, and 3D printers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Understanding of architectural lighting and LED technology.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for project site visits.
Responsibilities

· Assisting in coordinating project progress, ensuring all technical aspects are moving forward within established lead times and budgets.
· Coordinate with sales, technical, and operations teams to align project goals.
· Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring that all technical and production elements meet quality standards.
· Support the creation of detailed technical drawings, schematics, and product designs, ensuring that they are accurate and in line with project specifications.
