At this exciting time in our company, ABC stone has an opportunity for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Sales Representative to gather and fulfill all required information to fully initiate Special Orders. Excellent communication and follow-up skills are essential for effectively relaying this information to stakeholders, including Sales Rep and Suppliers.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam or related software
  • Knowledge of PM software and methodologies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

PMP Certificate preferred
Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience in the Natural Stone industry a plus
At least two years related experience required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

SALARY RANGE

$70,000 - $85,000 annually. Salary to commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with training of new staff.
  • Supports the Project Manager and VP of SPO with documents needed for the orders

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Sales Reps on fulfilling required information for special orders
  • Communicates confirmed information to Salesperson and Vendor
  • Follows up with Vendors for CNT information
  • Manages CRM SPO effectively
  • Provides quotes to the Sales Reps
  • Furnish necessary documents to confirm the orders with Vendors
  • Issues documents for approval while quote/ order is being prepared
  • Stays up to date on PM methodologies
  • Performs other duties as assigned
