We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. Job Description AECOM is seeking a Assistant Project Manager to be based in Long Beach, CA. This position is contingent upon an expected contract award. The Assistant Project Manager will: • Manages one or more moderately complex projects. • May manage all phases of projects (from beginning to close out). • Reviews planning documents for compliance with contract requirements and quality of technical content. • Performs technical quality reviews, including documentation and project record following policies and procedure. • Identifies stakeholder problems and opportunities in particular areas that could be mitigated through planning. • Maintains data for long range and short range planning. • Review, analyze and make recommendations for professional services contracts. • Assist in performing fiscal analysis related to planning projects, construction accounting, budgeting, invoicing, payment requests. • Serve as a liaison between client personnel and other stakeholders regarding project activities, including planning, scheduling and overall project status. • Attend various meetings, conferences, governmental hearings as assigned; prepare and deliver oral presentations to the public and other stakeholders. • Coordinates with Client's consultants to produce quality documents for agency review. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Valid Driver License required Must be able to pass client screenings to include LiveScan Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering 4+ years of related construction experience 2 years of California K-12 Education and DSA experience Additional Information Relocation is not available for this position.
