As a small but growing business, we pride ourselves on being agile, innovative, and collaborative. Our goal is to develop Assistant Project Managers into full-time Project Managers as part of our company’s growth strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting contracts, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Ability to travel to and from the company’s main office in Irvine to various job sites as needed but at minimum on a weekly basis.
  • Assist in all phases of preconstruction and construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Work collaboratively with senior project managers and team members to establish project objectives and deliverables.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and interact with clients as necessary.
  • Coordinate project tasks, including meeting scheduling, documentation preparation, and milestone tracking.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, requests for information, change orders, and other essential communications.
  • Perform research and analysis to support project decisions.
  • Assist in project planning and risk management processes.
  • Promote and support the implementation of project management best practices.
