JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious junior professional looking to establish a career in the construction industry. We, Canadoo Enterprises Inc., are Greater Vancouver-based general contractor providing quality services in new home, residential and commercial renovation, offices and restaurants.
In this role, as a Assistant Project Manager, you will oversee the construction projects collaborating with engineers, architects, trade contractors to ensure timely quality services by planning, organizing and controlling projects; supervising trade-contractors and personnel. Our ideal candidate must be a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid knowledge and experience in the construction industry is an asset (Not a must)
  • 1 year experience in construction project coordinator is an asset
  • Ability to possess negotiation and self-management skills
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with customers and sub-contractors
  • Quick learner, self-motivated team player with high energy and passion for succeeding
  • Flexible with work hours
  • Understanding Japanese culture is an asset
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken), Advanced in Japanese (spoken) is an asset
  • Must have a Class 5 BC Driver’s License
  • Currently living in Great Vancouver area with valid Work VISA, PR Status or Canadian citizenship
    Job Types: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
    Pay: $48,000-$60,000 per year (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
    Schedule: 8 hours shift, Monday to Friday
    Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
