POSITION OVERVIEW

The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing schedules, and ensuring that project goals are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of projects
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Monitor project progress and report on status to the Project Manager
  • Help manage project budgets and track expenses
  • Assist with on-site project management and supervision of construction activities
  • Participate in project meetings and document meeting minutes and action items
  • Support the development and maintenance of project documentation, including contracts and change orders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction project management or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and terminology
  • Familiarity with multi-family and commercial construction projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
