Description Job Summary: Reporting directly to the Regional Production Manager, the Assistant Project Manager is responsible for supporting the supervision and construction of high quality custom DiYanni Homes in a specific region, as well as: Responsibilities: Represent DiYanni Homes in a professional manner in dress, actions, and communication Complete a thorough inspection of the home and all tasks as indicated on the “Closing Prep checklist” prior to the quality control inspection Complete tasks as requested by the Project Manager to ensure the home meets or exceeds “Benchmark” standard of quality prior to the quality control inspection Use the job specifications, plans, and color sheet to obtain the necessary information to answer homeowner and trade questions Inspect jobsites at different phases of construction for accuracy and quality of work, as well as identify and report quality issues and other concerns to the Project Manager in a timely manner Resolve pre-drywall and pre-settlement orientations correction items Perform any punch-out and clean-up tasks required Use BuilderTrend to document job progress, as well as add notes and pictures Work efficiently to complete tasks on schedule and minimize trips to jobsites Disclaimer: This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification. Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record Proficient in residential cosmetic repairs including drywall, trim, tile, etc. Working knowledge of residential mechanicals including HVAC, plumbing, electric, etc. Physically able to conduct manual labor including lot, house, and basement clean up, move lumber, walk on roofs, climb ladders, etc. Thorough understanding of operating hand tools commonly used in residential construction including power hand tools, generators, concrete saws, etc. Working knowledge of smart phone and iPad technology
