MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of various phases and functional responsibility of rail project and transportation infrastructure project development and delivery, federal and state contracting laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of various phases of NEPA and CEQA processes to achieve Record of Decision and Notice of Determination for major infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of the following is of added value: superfund sites, environmental justice (disadvantaged communities) and water management/reclamation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in environmental studies or equivalent
  • At least 7 years of experience in managing the delivery of environmental documents, analyses, and reports for project section approval on major infrastructure projects
  • Experience with major federal and state funded transportation projects, familiar with transportation projects and disciplines.
Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the management of the regional consultant responsible for the delivery of the environmental clearance documents.
  • Assist in the development and management of scope, schedule, and budget for the delivery of the project section
  • Manage coordination between interdisciplinary teams
  • Support coordination with local jurisdictions, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
