Assistant Project Manager – Fountain Valley, CA Twining Consulting, Inc is an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection company seeking an in-office Assistant Project Manager for our Fountain Valley office.  It is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to make an immediate impact and for a candidate looking to grow within the organization. Responsibilities:   * Assist support project teams with the management of reports for consulting services * Review field and laboratory reports and document and handle nonconformance items * Ensure accurate and timely billing and provide audits of backup documentation for project invoices * Perform support tasks assigned by the Project Manager in a timely and productive manner while maintaining position utilization goals * Provide support to Project Managers on client requests for project documents and assist the organization with project goals, details, and deliverables * Assist with the planning, coordination, and implementation of services for company projects * Assist with the evaluation of data as required * Support tracking project budgets and reporting of project progress, including additional budget requests * Provide support with the collection efforts of open invoices   Requirements: * Minimum of 5 years in the construction industry and/or civil engineering experience * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Proficiency skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and general software programs * Exhibits an advanced ability to analyze problems and develop alternative strategies to solve them * Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with co-workers, clients, and potential clients * Ability to maintain the company-established chargeability goals   Excellent benefits package including medical, dental and 401(k) Plan.
