QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in AEC industry
  • Preferred experience working for an electrical construction contractor
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:

  • Assigned to support project manager(s) with the responsibility of assisting by coordinating and planning efforts to effectively complete documentation associated with assigned projects and maintaining a smooth workflow.
  • Assist with the coordinating, reviewing, revising, drafting, and maintaining of contractual agreements used in the procurement of electrical construction-related goods and services.
  • Support project management and field construction in planning for project construction, including set-up of digital project files and project file setup; management of project documentation throughout the construction progress from project start through close out.
  • Assist in managing subcontractors including bid review, issuing contacts, progress and compliance tracking, file maintenance, communications and scope and change administration.
  • Assist with submittal of permit applications and inspection requests.
  • Responsible for assembly, transmittal, tracking and distribution of project submittals including shop drawings, samples, cut sheets and as-builts.
  • Attend project meetings to help manage workflow, progress, communications, information management and all other project related topics.
  • Assist in change management process including reviewing updated documents, establishing scope revisions, estimating costs, updating field drawings and tracking.
  • Assist in schedule management including establishing baselines, tracking progress, updates and communications associated with project schedules.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
