ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A leading multifamily general contractor is looking for a skilled Assistant Project Manager to become part of their dynamic team based in Fort Myers, Florida. This position provides the chance to contribute to high-quality multifamily construction projects spanning southern Florida while advancing one’s career in the construction industry.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Assistant Project Manager will support project management activities for multifamily residential developments across southern Florida. This individual will work closely with the project management team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Multifamily development experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management or construction
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Must be willing to relocate to Fort Myers, FL area
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience with multifamily residential projects
  • Knowledge of Florida building codes and regulations
  • PMP or other project management certifications
  • Experience with construction scheduling software
  • Bilingual capabilities (Spanish/English) a plus
