POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a proactive and organized Assistant Project Manager to support our project teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring timely delivery of materials, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with project tracking and communication across departments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Procore, Salesforce, Autodesk, SolidWorks, and Bluebeam a plus.
  • Knowledge of estimating software and scheduling tools preferred.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1- 3 years of experience in a mechanical or construction environment preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist with estimating, material take-offs, and project setup using tools like Procore and Salesforce.
  • Material & Logistics Management: Work with Purchasing, Shop Foreman, and Shipping/Receiving to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and hardware.
  • Documentation & Systems: Maintain project manuals and update project data in Salesforce; support change management processes.
  • Quality & Compliance: Monitor fabrication progress, ensure adherence to drawings/specifications, and uphold safety and compliance standards.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients, supporting project engineers, managers, and field crews
