POSITION TITLE: ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER – UPSTATE MARKET

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the Project Manager and Superintendent in executing all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards by facilitating communication, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, managing documentation, and contributing to overall project planning and execution.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant construction project experience preferred
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project) a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
  • Effective listener and communicator; able to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and coworkers
  • Committed work ethic and alignment with company values.
