Description The Assistant Project Manager supports project execution on multiple construction projects, managing daily tasks with oversight from a Senior PM or Director. REPORTS TO: Director of Construction INDIRECT REPORTS: N/A HOURS: Full-Time, Monday through Friday WORK LOCATION: Minnetonka, MN ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions upon request. Develop, review and finalize construction documents for entitlement, permitting and construction. Maintain an adopted ownership mindset throughout the design and construction process Scope, Source, and contract professional service agreements for design and engineering Manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, permits, and invoices Coordinate design drawings for procurement of structural steel with Supply Chain Manager Coordinate subcontractors/vendors; ensure compliance with contract requirements Communicate weekly project status to stakeholders Maintain project logs and documentation accurately and on time. Update and review project tracking software & file structure Proper management of all billable hours in labor tracking system Audit document management services and creation of files for internal communication, and standard operating procedures Support client communication, progress reports, and site meetings with senior staff. Provide transparent and proactive communication through all stages of projects Responsible for project management metrics tracked on weekly basis Assist with procurement, pay apps, and closeout documentation. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Construction, field or office (2-4 years) Project Management (2 years) Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Procore, and Bluebeam bachelor’s degree (preferred) in one of the following or related areas: Construction Management, Real Estate, or Urban Planning OSHA 30 preferred Driver's License (Required) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Moderate travel required Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
