POSITION SUMMARY

ACG Builds is on the lookout for a sharp, organized Assistant Project Manager to join our expanding team and contribute to an exciting portfolio of commercial construction work. From ground-up multi-family complexes to stylish apartment remodels and interior fit-outs, you’ll collaborate with experienced construction professionals in a dynamic environment. Based at our Harbor Island office in Seattle, this opportunity is ideal for someone eager to advance their construction management career with hands-on support and mentorship.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years working as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within commercial construction
  • Degree in Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred
  • Competency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Procore
  • Solid knowledge of reading blueprints, reviewing specs, and managing submittals
  • Clear, effective communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience working on multi-story concrete structures is a plus
  • Ability to engage confidently with project owners, engineers, subcontractors, and municipal contacts
  • Reliable, detail-oriented team player who tackles problems with a solutions-first mindset

Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to oversee and support project execution
  • Deliver weekly progress updates and milestone reports to the project team
  • Draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and manage the distribution of documents for subcontractor pricing
  • Attend job site walkthroughs and subcontractor coordination meetings
  • Review bids and assist in proposal evaluation and negotiations
  • Organize, issue, and track all submittals and shop drawings
  • Maintain and update RFIs and submittal tracking logs with precision
  • Participate in punch list creation and assist in project wrap-up efforts
  • Support job site quality control in tandem with the field team
  • Maintain construction documentation, specs, and record drawings
  • Observe and help enforce site safety policies and procedures
