GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
As the Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for successfully executing the Museum wide LED lighting upgrade project and contribute to other ongoing museum facilities projects. You will work in collaboration with external stakeholders such as DCAS, NYPA and NYC officials, as well as internal stakeholders including teams in Design, Curatorial, Conservation, and Buildings. You will oversee the modernization of lighting fixtures and lamps in spaces across the museum. You will oversee the work of outside vendors, and contractors and ensure coordination of work orders with department staff and security teams. You will help expand, sustain, improve, maintain and protect museum facilities, the collection, the public and the staff.
This is a position with an established end-date or time frame. Time frame will begin upon hire: 3 - Years
