Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of business change initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage small projects independently and assist with larger programmes, all while developing your project management skills in a collaborative and values-driven environment.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining project documentation, applying project controls, and engaging stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage small, less complex projects from initiation to delivery using Onward’s Project Methodology.
  • Support Project Managers in delivering larger, more complex projects and programmes.
  • Assist in maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and key documentation (RAID logs, lessons learned, action trackers).
  • Engage with stakeholders and workstream leads to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes, and follow up on actions.
  • Monitor project progress and escalate risks or issues as needed.
  • Provide a high-quality service aligned with our values of Respect, Creativity, and Excellence.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure successful project outcomes.
