Description:
The Assistant Project Manager supports our project teams in planning, coordinating, and execution of various projects. This position will work closely with the Project Managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role is responsible for tracking projects’ progress, maintaining documentation, coordinating meetings, and communication with other parties to keep projects running smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Track project deliverables and timelines using appropriate tools.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, including scheduling, note-taking, and follow-ups.
  • Assist with risk management by identifying potential issues and escalating them as needed.
  • Ensure project compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support procurement processes, such as vendor selection and contract management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Jira).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and best practices.
  • Experience in budget tracking and cost control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
