Description Under the direction of the Operations & Agency Management Systems Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager supports all Operations projects which includes IT and Training. This includes updating project plans and timelines, organizing meetings and agendas, and collaborating with multiple agency contacts to ensure successful completion of projects. This role strictly adheres to our Corporate Standards of Excellence and procedural guidelines spelled out in our Professional Procedure Manual. Essential Job Functions: Work alongside the IT department to provide feedback on systems (testing/validating new & existing products). Assist in creating/reviewing/validating current agency/department operational procedures. Assist with creating comprehensive project roadmaps. Communicates with related parties (tasks, milestones, issues, etc.) Coordinate scheduling related to projects and trainings. Escalate any issues to the Operations & Agency Management Systems Project Manager. Identify areas of improvement (IT education tickets). Collaborate with Training team and other departments to create relevant training session (writing content, video & audio, etc.). Assist in data governance projects (i.e. data cleansing). Create/implement/analyze data of project metrics (allocation of time, tasks assigned, etc.). Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt to different project management styles and prioritize tasks. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Project Management preferred. 3-5 years of project management experience, insurance industry preferred. High proficiency in Microsoft’s Suite of Products
