We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our PMO Team. In this role you will be supporting the project manager and construction team for projects of all sizes, scopes and levels of complexity within our PMO team. Why TAK? The Role Plan, organize and support the management of projects within scope, timeline and budget expectations Support the project manager by handling administrative tasks, coordinating teams, tracking progress, managing budgets, and ensuring project documentation is organized Act as a key link between stakeholders, vendors, and the project team to help achieve project goals efficiently from start to finish Prepare reports, manage schedules, track expenditures, and facilitate communication to keep projects on time and within budget Assist in developing plans, timelines, and budgets; helps coordinate project phases from inception to completion Support the construction management team with pre-construction activities, drawing reviews, material coordination, permitting, subcontract resources, and other tasks as assigned related to projects Notify the project team potential project risks and issues, implementing effective risk management strategies Support and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders, providing clear direction and status updates Travel throughout SW Vegas, Phoenix and Albuquerque (+/- 75% annually) as directed by leaders As directed, prepare data and metrics for project status updates – including both the technical and human-sides of project management Requirements 5+ years of direct project-related supervisor or management experience is required Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience Professional certifications are preferred but not necessary – PMP, Scrum Master, Lean/Agile, etc. Ability to work independently, be self-driven and a highly organized problem solver Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to speak with a wide variety of people Able to travel as needed throughout SW Vegas, Phoenix and Albuquerque (+/- 75% annually) Experienced using project tracking tools, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
