Following our continued success in securing new projects in the Welsh region, we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team.
Reporting directly to our Project Management Team in Cardiff, you will be responsible for supporting the management of projects, working closely with our client, stakeholders and colleagues from other Tetra Tech disciplines.

We are seeking a passionate, high performing Assistant Project Manager who can demonstrate a flexible management skillset:

  • A focused individual with leadership qualities and the desire to deliver successful outcomes
  • A collaborative team member who will work with the whole project team to develop objectives and agree ways of working
  • Familiar with various forms of contracts (JCT and NEC) ensuring compliance with the terms of the contract
  • Monitors progress against the schedule supporting the management of resources against the baseline and identifies variances that require action
  • Monitors financial performance throughout the project and prepares reports for stakeholders
  • Preparation of the Risk Management plan and process to identify threats and opportunities, assessing the impacts to develop suitable response plans
  • Consistently applies quality assurance processes and standards
  • Able to understand and work to governance structures that define clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for governance
  • Participates and supports stakeholder management and communication plans to meet the objectives of the project.
  • Supports the management of the change control process in line with the contract conditions
