Description

An Assistant Project Manager at Titan Roofing is a fun yet very demanding position where the hours are long, the work is difficult, and the projects are unique. The assistant project manager must be able to complete a myriad of tasks, which are listed below:

  • Read and understand project blue prints and specifications.
  • Read and understand project recap sheets. Titan primarily uses “The Edge” estimating software.
  • Order accurate amounts of material and equipment.
  • Price and negotiate change orders.
  • Complete project site visuals as required.
  • Ability to work well with others. This ranges from property owners and architects down to apprentice field personnel and warehouse staff.
  • Review project documents with job foreman and assist foreman to ensure project completion.
  • Complete closeout documents including as-built drawings.

· Produce and update project schedules.

  • Develop subcontractor scopes of work.
  • Manage subcontractors.
  • Ability to multi-task and oversee a variety of different trades and trades people.
  • Help establish quality control for roofing installation / subcontractor installation.
  • Complete roofing shop drawing (hand sketches) as well as project submittals.
  • Develop project schedule and maintain schedule.
  • Develop budgets and work within the budget constraints.
  • Pick-up material and deliver to jobsite if needed. It’s important that the assistant project manager always keeps the field crews working productively.
  • Write purchase orders and subcontracts.
  • Attend project progress meetings as well as Titan production meeting.
  • Obtain and OSHA 10 card through OSHA training. An OSHA 30 hour course would be required at a later date. Titan would provide this training if needed.
  • Computer literate – Must have working knowledge in Excel, Office, and Outlook.
  • Producing and following up on Request for Information (RFIs)
  • Work with main or branch offices in man hour and finance reporting.
  • Take direction from other Project Managers to assist them with their projects.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,700.00 - $70,000.00 per year
