    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday but flexibility is required as job duties demand.

It is the responsibility of the Assistant Project Manager to ensure all front-end project requirements are met to ensure success. This position is responsible for overseeing several project startups at once while working with multiple Project Managers. Typical job duties include assistance in the pre-bid phase, assistance estimating, bid submission, contractual administration. Along with these duties, the Assistant Project Manager will assist management with day-to-day activities, report generation and other duties assigned as well as interact with the field crews on a daily basis.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Order plans / specs / bid documents
  • Organize office operations and procedures.
  • Conducts daily review of all project agreements, contracts, invoices, and cost estimates.
  • Create and maintain project files.
  • Communicate issues, events, performance, and progress daily to the Project Manager.
  • Establish effective working relationships with clients and team members.
  • Work as liaison between field crews and customers representing the Company.
  • Address customer complaints and mitigate field issues.
  • Develop field schedules with Project Manager and Operations Managers for review.
  • Monitors budget throughout the project and communicates variances as they occur.
  • Other duties as assigned.
