We are a Southern California Low Voltage Systems Contractor seeking an Assistant Project Manager.

The ideal Assistant Project Manager is an active self-starter and visionary with a sense of urgency. He or she is not afraid to be tested and challenged. This Assistant Project Manager should be hands-on team player who isn’t afraid to get his or hands dirty. This person is relationship-driven, youthful in spirit and collaborative. He or she knows how to be honest, kind and diplomatic. He or she is a good communicator, both written and oral and knows how to listen.
The ideal candidate is generous, authentic and personable. He or she must have a good sense of humor and remain approachable while being humble.
Position Profile:

Expectations are but not limited to:

• Learning the understanding of Low Voltage Systems, installation means, and terminology
• Reviewing project plans and specifications
• Learn to perform accurate, thorough take offs of materials and equipment for both new and ongoing electrical projects
• Learn to review quotations for accuracy.
• Learn to understand the processes and proficiency with electrical estimating whether utilizing software programs or extending take offs manually.
• Help create complete electrical estimates and budgets
• Learn to establish relationships with clients as well as vendors and subs.
• Openly communicate with the project managers, superintendent, and foremen.
