Working to protect the state’s environment and heritage.     About the role National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Assistant Project Officer to work as part of the team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and Aboriginal heritage. The Assistant Project Officer provides practical project and administrative support to help deliver programs and initiatives across National Parks & Wildlife Service. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will support the planning, coordination, monitoring and reporting of projects that contribute to the conservation of NSW’s natural and cultural heritage and the delivery of high-quality visitor experiences. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, an interest in project work, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will: * Support the delivery of projects by tracking milestones, monitoring progress and preparing reports against time, cost and quality objectives * Undertake research and basic analysis to inform project planning, briefs and decision-making * Maintain accurate project documentation, records and registers in line with established governance and project management frameworks * Assist with the coordination of meetings, prepare agendas and papers, and provide secretariat and administrative support * Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve routine issues * Contribute to the planning and delivery of defined projects, working independently or as part of a project team  About You We’re looking for a motivated and organised professional who enjoys supporting projects and working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
