Overview:
The Lemartec Assistant Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Superintendent with the overall day-to-day supervision of field construction activities. This position will help direct subcontractors; scheduling and sequencing the day-to-day activities of work; assist in overseeing individual projects to assure compliance with the scope and quality as established by the contract documents; enforcement of site cleanliness, and proactively anticipate and assist in solving problems that could delay construction; Assistance and support to the Superintendent.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience as a construction Assistant Superintendent.
Experience with civil and electrical construction is required

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Should have some prior exposure to project scheduling and document control experience.
Communication & organization development skills, especially when managing subcontractors and inspectors
OSHA Certification- knowledge of OSHA safety standards and procedures
Experience with the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, and Document Control Programs
