National Development is looking for an Assistant Property Manager for Emery Flats, located in Woburn, MA. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for people, apartment living, and creating a sense of community among residents and team members.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative tasks such as processing invoices, depositing rent checks, processing move-in and move-out accounting, and managing delinquency recovery
  • Corresponding with prospective residents – establishing a good rapport, setting up appointments, touring the community, and guiding them through the leasing and move-in process, all while showcasing exemplary customer service and sales skills
  • Preparing weekly and monthly leasing reports
  • Initiating and executing the lease renewal process from offer to acceptance and preparing weekly renewal status update reports
  • Participating in the planning and execution of resident events
  • Conducting daily, weekly, quarterly property inspections to ensure that the property is well maintained
  • Conducting routine inspections of vacant units and models to ensure that they are presentable and ready for move in
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of the property, community and competitors
  • Staying on the cutting edge of market conditions, trends and product knowledge in the community and competitive communities
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing strategies for the property, including maintaining a strong social media presence
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with residents, offering a first-class resident experience and helping to maintain a strong sense of community
  • Ensuring resident satisfaction through follow-up calls and emails as well as maintaining property reputation through timely response to online reviews
  • Playing a role in achieving community financial goals and assisting in the development, preparation and administration of the community’s capital and operating budgets
  • Demonstrating the ability to resolve resident complaints when possible as well as escalating to the Property Manager when necessary
  • Assuming the Property Manager’s responsibilities when they are not present
  • Working weekends as needed
