We are seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager to join our skilled, diverse, and dynamic team. Position: Assistant Property Manager Location: Margate, FL Hourly Rate: $22.00/hour Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week) PTO: 40 hours sick leave after 90-day probation; 40 hours vacation PTO after 1 year; 7 paid federal holidays The Assistant Property Manager supports daily operations of residential properties by assisting the primary Property Manager with resident inquiries, maintenance coordination, financial tasks, and recordkeeping. This role also includes vendor management, event coordination, compliance enforcement, and general administrative duties to ensure smooth property management and community operations. Responsibilities: Assist the Property Manager with special projects, research, and overall management of the office, clubhouse, and amenities. Provide professional, solutions-based input and assist in decision-making with fact-driven reasoning. Answer phones, take memos, maintain files, and greet clients and homeowners. Respond to after-hours or weekend emergencies as needed. Prioritize daily tasks and follow through to completion, ensuring proper documentation. Supervise maintenance/janitorial staff, manage work orders, inspections, and maintenance records. Coordinate ongoing and special projects with the Board and staff, including tracking timelines and completion. Manage vendors, obtain quotes, create RFPs, oversee projects, and report progress to the Property Manager. Maintain and organize association contracts, resident files, homeowner portals, maintenance records, and access to property amenities. Address resident questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Provide updates to the Board of Directors and committees; attend Board meetings and prepare meeting summaries. Assist with enforcement of association rules and governing documents, including inspections and follow-ups. Oversee association records, books, documents, and correspondence to ensure proper documentation and retrieval. Manage office and maintenance inventory, including ordering supplies as needed. Utilize property management and accounts payable software for invoicing and financial tasks. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Property Manager. Qualifications: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Previous experience in property management or a related field preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage relationships with residents, owners, and vendors. Proficient in property management software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, and cloud file servers. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
