JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a customer service-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This role will support our condominium management and accounting managers with our daily operations ensuring exceptional service to our clients and maintaining the overall efficiency of property management tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, customer service expertise, comfortability with technology, and a passion for property management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant background in customer service or experience in office administration or a related field is required
  • Familiarity with property management software is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with residents.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for effective data entry and filing processes.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Proficient in using standard office equipment and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Proficient typing at a level of 50+ wpm, via a typing skill test.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and maintenance requests.
  • Utilize Microsoft software for data entry, compliance and administration issues, and tenant communication.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident inquiries promptly.
  • Support maintenance requests by conducting on-site inspections and/or providing photos to contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records through filing and data entry, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to implement effective customer relationship management strategies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance protocols.
  • Demonstrate professional phone etiquette when handling incoming calls from residents and vendors.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance requests and work orders.
